  • 12/26 In China Flat, I loved seeing all the coastal oaks, they survived the big fire that swept through here in 2006 (I think). I wonder if there are owls here?

  • 12/25 Christmas Day ride in Sycamore Cyn and a brief stop along PCH. It was too windy to stand out very long.
  • 12/27/15 We went to Tapia State Park off Las Virgenes to do a short walk and bird along the creek. I was looking for wood ducks but no luck. We got to see a sharp shinned hawk as well as a red-shouldered hawk.
  • 12/30 we went for an afternoon walk but Whitty wasn't feeling too well but he still chose to walk on the wall as we made our way back to the car. His tummy was upset and I wasn't feeling 100% either due to a cold.
