Baden-Powell October 15, 2011

October 15, 2011, another stellar day! Vincent Gap TH @ 1hr45mins via Pearblossom Hwy, return via Hwy 2. Highlights are the ancient, 1000-2000 year-old limber pines at the summit. Bigcone Douglas Fir, massive Jeffrey Pines, Ponderosa Pine, White Fir, shaded trail for most of the hike. At the summit one can see Mt. Baldy to the east, our next weekend's destination (October 22).
